Ever read 20,000 leagues under the sea? It is pretty cool. One thing that Jules Verne predicted before anyone else (besides the presence of giant squid) was scuba diving. He practically invented the idea.

Those science fiction guys come up with some pretty wild stuff. Nuclear submarines, stealthy naval undersea battles, and apartus to breathe underwater. Not bad for 1870. At that time, the rest of our ancestors were shoveling horse shit in the streets.
