Did you know that Carrie was Steven King's first book. I guess he is unhappy with the movie version, but honestly, I think of it as one of the few horror movies with any interesting plot or acting. Sissy Spacek did a great job as Carrie. I'm not sure what Steven King was expecting, but if he was unhappy with that, he needs to lower his expectations.
